    CUSTOMER SERVICE / POST-SALES SUPPORT

    PrideStaff San Diego is looking for a person for our client’s Customer Service role that they have available. This is with a well-known and respected client who is based the Mission Valley area. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity and upon permanently hired, has excellent benefits!

    THE CLIENT IS HIRING DUE TO GROWTH AND THIS IS A MONDAY TO FRIDAY ROLE, FULL-TIME, AND PAYS $21.91 PER HOUR.

    JOB OVERVIEW

    This Customer Service role supports the post-sales team by providing a high level of customer service to the client’s dealers and distributors regarding sales orders, parts availability, parts pricing, supplier information or any other customer requests or needs. This position contributes to the overall mission of the client by providing innovative solutions and improving the customer care experience.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Processes sales orders from customers in Aftermarket website
    • Resolves any issue to fulfill orders in a timely manner
    • Facilitates pricing requests and lead-time requests for stock or non-stock parts from the client or other suppliers
    • Answers inbound phone calls from customers promptly and politely
    • Receives and responds to customer requests using email and phone calls
    • Assists customers with looking up parts on the Aftermarket website
    • Aids customers with Aftermarket sales support such as tracking packages, tracking shipments, tracking weekly stock order, return authorizations, and processing shipping discrepancies.
    • Provides part cross reference information to customers
    • Exceeds customers’ expectations by demonstrating the highest level of customer service
    • Follows up with internal or external parties to provide prompt solutions for customers
    • Effectively diffuses high-tension situations with customers
    • Communicates any urgent customer service issues to management
    • Continuously improves processes to become more efficient
    • Performs to exceed department and company goals
    • Executes any other duties assigned by management.

    EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

    • 2 years of experience in a recent role (office-type customer service environment)
    • Outstanding customer service skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Problem solver
    • Ability and interest to learn about the heavy-duty trailer industry
    • Technical adaptability
    • Great computer skills (MS Outlook and Excel) and able to learn new software. Willing and able to learn V-LOOKUP in Excel.
    • Data entry experience with high accuracy preferred
    • Good, basic math skills required
    • Detail oriented
    • Organized
    • High school diploma or GED.
