    Job Description

    ORDER OPERATIONS CLERK, PAO

    PRIMARY ARMS, LLC - HOUSTON, TX

     

    JOB SUMMARY:

    The order operations clerk will ensure the accurate handling of dealer, government sales, marketing sample and online reviewer samples within the Optics Division to reach divisional and organizational objectives and goals.

     

    This is a full-time position with daytime hours. Some non-standard work shifts may be required.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

    ·         Monitor the Optics Samples folder in HelpScout as well as your personal email for new sample requests and create sales orders for them

    ·         Services (a) dealers (b) marketing (c) government sales and (d) online reviewer sample requests of all sizes

    ·         Tracks, monitors, and coordinates all sample request orders

    ·         Archives all paperwork associated with sample sales orders

    ·         Communicates with other departments to locate and transfer hard to find optics as well as misc items and accessories

    ·         Communicates with the requestors if there are any delays regarding to back orders and/or unavailable items as well as the quality of product needed

    ·         Communicates with QC when requestor requires inspections and product information flyers to be included in shipment

    ·         Coordinates payment terms vs free samples and shipment schedules with various requestors

    ·         Responds to internal requests related to sales orders and returns of loaner optics

    ·         Responds to information requests related to orders from internal departments throughout the organization

    ·         Assists the Order Operations Manager to design, develop, and maintain streamlined order processes and workflows

    ·         Responsible for fulfilling orders in an accurate and timely manner

    ·         Relays customer feedback and new product inquiries to the Product Development team

    ·         Assists with special projects.

    ·         Records information and ensures quality of data in NetSuite, Helpscout, Korber and other internal systems that support sales and production

    ·         Additional tasks, as assigned, within the Primary Arms Team

     

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    ·         High school graduate

    ·         2-3 years of related work experience

    ·         Skilled in Microsoft office, especially Excel and Word

    ·         Must type fast and accurately

    ·         Professional manner and leadership

    ·         Excellent critical thinking skills

    ·         Pleasant personality

    ·         PC proficiency

    ·         High productivity

    PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

    ·         Familiar with international logistic and trade regulations

    ·         2 years’ experience in wholesales within the firearms industry

    ·         2-year Associate Degree in business or related fields

    ·         Experience with NetSuite a plus

    ·         Bilingual in French, German, or Spanish

    ·         Understanding and/or passion for optics and outdoor shooting sports

    ·         The desire to grow and improve processes

    ·         Ability to present ideas in a clear and concise manner
