    U.S. FIELD SALES MANAGER, PRIMARY ARMS OPTICS - HOUSTON, TEXAS

    JOB OVERVIEW

    The Field Sales Manager (FSM) is accountable for the profitable achievement of sales objectives associated with the assigned market, segment, and sales team managed. The FSM is responsible for their assigned team’s sales productivity and directs their effort to have the greatest overall impact on company results.

    He/she manages all aspects of running an efficient sales team, including hiring, supervising, coaching, disciplining, and motivating direct-report field sales associates, identifying, and evaluating customers' needs.

    This is a full-time position with daytime and early evening hours. Some non-standard work shifts may be required. This position requires extensive travel.

    RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

    Hosts ongoing training to ensure that employees are familiar with our product releases

    Builds peer support and strong internal-company relationships with other key management personnel

    Proactively assesses, clarifies, and validates customer requirements and satisfaction by engaging key customer accounts in conjunction with sales personnel managed. Provides a management-level point of contact for key customers. Builds and maintains strong customer relationships

    Manages Rep-Group accounts

    Uses insights derived from performance reviews and market research to tweak systems, as needed

     Supervises staff to ensure that they perform the correct tasks to prescribed standards

    Positively impacts the performance of individual sales team members by implementing and managing field support tools, including training programs, productivity initiatives, account and territory planning methodologies, and customer communication tools

    Monitors random negotiations to discern whether employees are adopting effective sales techniques

    Assigns work to Field Sales Representatives in an equitable manner

    Leads field forecasting efforts among the team managed, ensuring that accurate forecasts are completed on a timely basis

    Achieves strategic teams’ objectives defined by company management

    Determines and conveys sales targets that facilitate the actualization of our company's broader objectives

    Jointly responsible (with field marketing) for marketing investment ROI in the assigned marketplace

    Produces sales reports, manage department KPI’s

    Ensures that staff members are reimbursed for work-related purchases

    Supports trade shows & conferences

    Prioritizes coaching and performance management efforts to have the greatest overall impact on business results

    Performs other duties, as required, within the Primary Arms Team

    SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

    The incumbent must demonstrate proficiency in the following areas:

    ·       Minimum 2 years proven experience as a Field Sales Manager or similar

    ·       A bachelor's degree in the related field is preferred

    ·       An arsenal of brilliant sales techniques that you are eager to share

    ·       Ability to interact effectively with customers

    ·       Ability to interact with the team in a fast-paced environment, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient

    ·       Ability to develop and administer insightful market research protocols

    ·       Ability to work under pressure

    ·       Ability to travel

    ·       Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to operate/ demo firearm

    ·       Advanced computer knowledge and ability to build and properly file weekly, monthly, and yearly KPI along with other additional reports

    ·       Excellent networking abilities

    ·       Well organized and detail oriented

    ·       Must be able to work with minimum amount of supervision

    ·       Excellent written and oral communicate skills

    ·       Valid driver's license
