Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm
No call

We are seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physicians to provide onsite primary care services for Veterans within the VA Finger Lakes Healthcare System.

This is a long term federal contract with a base year plus four option years. Stable weekday hours. No weekends. No nights.

Position Highlights

• 12 to 13 patients per day

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care services
• Manage acute and chronic conditions
• Order and interpret diagnostic testing
• Document in CPRS electronic health record
• Close encounters by end of shift
• Communicate test results within VA standards
• Participate in quality and safety initiatives

Requirements

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Active unrestricted U.S. medical license
• Current BLS and ACLS
• Eligible for VA credentialing and privileging
• DEA registration

Continuity of Care Model

You will complete a minimum 120 day consecutive assignment to support continuity for Veterans. Five physicians rotate to maintain 3.0 FTE daily coverage.

• 180 to 190 per hour
