Primary Care Physician – Family Practice or Internal Medicine
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Primary Care Physician (MD or DO) to join our team in Avon Park, FL. This is an outpatient-only role providing comprehensive primary care services, including preventive, acute, and chronic disease management for diverse populations.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation: Up to $250,000 per year based on experience
- Up to $75,000 through NHSC for a 2-year commitment
- Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) eligibility
- Relocation Assistance: $1,000 (in-state) | $3,000 (out-of-state)

Minimum Qualifications
- Medical Degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Clear and active Florida medical license (or ability to obtain before start date)
- Valid DEA registration and BLS certification
- Eligible for medical staff privileges and malpractice insurability
- Experience in outpatient primary care preferred
- Computer literacy and comfort with EHR systems required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide outpatient primary care, including preventive, acute, and chronic care services
- Educate patients and review diagnostic results with appropriate follow-up
- Maintain accurate EHR documentation and coding compliance
- Follow clinical guidelines and support quality improvement initiatives
- Coordinate referrals and collaborate with specialists and community resources
- Mentor and support clinical staff, including ARNPs and PA-Cs
- Assist with clinical protocols, onboarding, and community outreach
- Provide rotating coverage as needed and maintain a professional, team-oriented environment
