Primary Care Physician – VA Medical Center

Location:
Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center, 1 Medical Center Drive, Clarksburg, WV 26301
Community-Based Outpatient Clinics in Gassaway, Parkersburg, Parsons, and Westover, WV

Details:
• Three full-time positions
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
• No weekends or holidays
• One-year contract, tentative start date: 11/16/2025

Compensation:
• $120 to $145 per hour based on experience
• Travel and lodging provided if needed

Requirements:
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (ABIM/ABFM)
• Active physician license
• Current BLS and ACLS
• DEA and NPI
• Health documentation: TB, MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hep B

Scope of Work:
• Provide comprehensive primary care for acute and chronic conditions
• Conduct initial evaluations, treatment, and ongoing management of:

• Minor injuries and wound care

• Respiratory, gastrointestinal, dermatological, ENT, eye, and urological conditions

• Chronic diseases such as CAD, diabetes, hypertension, PTSD, depression
  • Follow all VA medication policies (no sample medications)
  • Report on time and be present for all scheduled shifts
