You will work with people who have trouble moving because of an injury and create a plan for effective treatment. This position is in charge of delivering physical therapy treatments to patients to help them feel less pain and move around better as well as developing their health and fitness plans. Our ideal candidate must be able to manage different types of patient issues while staying current on the most recent techniques and methods for treatment. Responsibilities: • Utilize physical therapy on patients to ease discomfort and increase mobility as prescribed by doctor • Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals • Analyze and draw conclusions based on data collected from the patient's tests and examinations • Generate therapy plans that incorporate a variety of strategies to fit the needs of each patient • Keep records of the patient's medical history and follow all rules, regulations, and protocols • Establish a plan of care including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities and/or manual therapy for each patient • Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and/or manual therapy and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions Qualifications: • Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) • Previous experience working with patients in a healthcare environment is highly desired • Must have exceptional analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills • Passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) is required for this position • This position requires you to be currently licensed in the state you practice Compensation: $45 - $55 hourly
