Responsibilities: • Utilize physical therapy on patients to ease discomfort and increase mobility as prescribed by doctor • Consult and collaborate with other healthcare professionals • Analyze and draw conclusions based on data collected from the patient's tests and examinations • Generate therapy plans that incorporate a variety of strategies to fit the needs of each patient • Keep records of the patient's medical history and follow all rules, regulations, and protocols • Establish a plan of care including long and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities and/or manual therapy for each patient • Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and/or manual therapy and modify patient treatment as indicated while adhering to precautions Qualifications: • Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) • Previous experience working with patients in a healthcare environment is highly desired • Must have exceptional analytical skills, communication skills, and observational skills • Passage of the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE) is required for this position • This position requires you to be currently licensed in the state you practice Compensation: $45 - $55 hourly
