    Primary Therapist – Residential

    Pinnacle Peak Recovery is a Scottsdale-based detox, inpatient and PHP/IOP extended treatment facility treating adult men and women recovering from the effects of substance dependence. At PPR, our goal is to assist our clients in regaining the life they were intended to have, prior to drug/alcohol addiction. We work together as a multi-disciplinary team, to treat each client individually with the highest level of clinical and medical interventions available.     POSITION SUMMARY: The Primary Therapist is responsible for providing accurate biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, group/individual/family therapy and crisis intervention.

    SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday, OR Tuesday to Saturday, OR Sunday to Thursday

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    Completes a thorough biopsychosocial assessment and other screening tools as required.

    Collaborates with the client to develop and implement an effective treatment plan.

    Provide individual, family and group therapy.

    Serves as the point of contact for coordination and communication with other systems where clinical knowledge of the case is crucial.

    Continuously evaluates the effectiveness of treatment through the ongoing assessment of the client and his/her natural supports.

    Maintains through documentation.

    Participates in individual and group supervision that meets the standards set by the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, and in accordance with organizational policy.

    Works collaboratively in a team environment.

    Other duties as assigned.

    SKILLS AND SPECIFICATIONS

    Experience in the treatment of substance use/co-occurring disorders

    Computer proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook skills)

    Excellent problem-solving skills

    Ability to operate under pressure and meet deadlines.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    LASAC, LISAC, LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW

    Prefer certification or experience in trauma therapy

    Must have at least two (2) years clean and sober if incumbent has disclosed they are in recovery.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:

    Frequently required to stand/walk/sit for long periods of time.

    Occasionally required to lift/push/carry up to 10 pounds.
