    Primary Therapist – Residential Level of Care

    Position Summary: The Primary Therapist is responsible for providing accurate biopsychosocial assessments, treatment planning, group/individual/family therapy and crisis intervention.

    Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Complete biopsychosocial assessments and other screening tools as required.

    Develop and implement effective treatment plans.

    Provide individual, family and group therapy.

    Maintain thorough and timely documentation.

    Participate in individual and group clinical supervision.

    Work collaboratively in an interdisciplinary team environment.

    Other duties as assigned.

    Skills and Specifications:

    Experience in the treatment of substance use/co-occurring disorders

    Experience working in interdisciplinary teams

    Computer proficiency (EHR's, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)

    Excellent problem-solving skills

    Qualifications:

    Required licensure: LAAC, LAC, LMSW, LIAC, LPC, or LCSW

    Certification and experience in trauma therapy is preferred

    Must have at least two (2) years of sobriety if incumbent has disclosed they are in recovery.

    Physical Demands:

    Frequently required to stand/walk/sit for long periods of time.

    Occasionally required to lift/push/carry up to 10 pounds.
