+--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | SUMMARY: | | | | The Network Solutions Intern is responsible for the coordination and | | installation/integration and support of a variety of systems.  This | | position requires demonstrated technical and time management skills, | | along with strong interpersonal communication skills. | | | |  JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: | | | | ·       Support Prime Communications customers’ systems with | | installation/integration and support.  | | | | ·       Support Customers’ wired and wireless networks, firewalls, | | endpoint protection, servers and                    storage systems.   | | | | ·       Foster positive strategic working relationships with both | | customers and Prime team members. | | | | ·       Support customers and Prime team members in the office and the | | field.   | | | | ·       Other duties as assigned. | | | |  QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE: | | | | ·       A high school diploma or equivalent. | | | | ·       Ability to work independently and with teams. | | | | ·       Basic understanding of IP networks, routing, firewalls, wireless | | and switching. | | | | ·       Attention to detail and commitment to quality. | | | | ·       Strong organizational skills. | | | | ·       Exceptional customer service skills. | | | | ·       Full-time student status in an accredited college or university | | in Nebraska or Iowa. | | | | ·       Ability to multitask and work variable hours. | | | |  PREFERRED SKILLS | | | | ·       Pursuing a degree in an IT related field such as Information | | Security or Networking. | | | | ·       Experience with Aruba Networks and/or Palo Alto Networks | | hardware and software. | | | |  ADDITIONAL NOTES | | | | ·       Individuals with a felony or misdemeanor convictions may not be | | hired | | | | ·       Individuals must not have any alcohol or drug-related | | convictions or suspensions within the past            three years. | | | | ·       Individual must be able to read and understand instructions in | | english as well as possess good                oral & written | | communication skills. | | | | ·       Individual must be able to pass a drug and physical screening as | | well as background                                  requirements. | | | |   | | | |   | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
