    +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+ | Summary | | | | The Security Sales Engineer shall prepare, design and build Scope of | | Work (SOW) and Bill of Materials (BOM) for IP Video Management System, | | Access Control Systems, Intrusion System and any other hardware and | | software related to those systems. The position’s first responsibility | | is to be the technical subject matter expert (both hardware and | | software) on the solutions deployed. Additional responsibilities include | | working with vendors, clients and internal team to collaborate on | | functionality and pricing of the solutions offered. | | | | Major Roles and Responsibilities | | | | ·       Primary responsibility will be to support Prime Communications | | Outside Sales Account Manager and Sales Engineering team with delivering | | security estimates and scope of work. | | | | ·       Design and build Security Systems with good understanding of | | both functionality and pricing | | | | ·       Collaborate with Sales teams to understand customer requirements | | and provide sales support | | | | ·       Meet with clients at appointments for walkthroughs and sales | | presentations | | | | ·       Maintain active products database so that parts and pricings are | | current | | | | ·       Collaborate with Operations team to understand and build Labor | | breakout | | | | ·       Deliver technical presentation and demos | | | | ·       Maintain Spec sheets and manuals for all products offered | | | | ·       Assist in researching and developing new solutions | | | | ·       Stay updated on all factions of Security Solution | | | | ·       Ensure departmental daily records are maintained and accurate | | | | ·       All other assigned duties | | | | Qualifications and Education Requirements | | | | ·       Associates Degree or equivalent (technical background is | | required) | | | | ·       Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Security | | Industry | | | | ·       Must have complex problem-solving skills | | | | ·       Must have ability to read and work on blue prints | | | | ·       Must be detail oriented | | | | ·       Must have good writing skills to prepare technical proposals | | | | ·       Must be self-motivated and be able to work and be successful | | with limited supervision | | | | ·       Must be willing and have the ability to move into a management | | position | | | | ·       Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to | | regional job sites | | | | ·       Must be organized | | | | ·       Must have strong customer service skills | | | | Preferred Skills | | | | Certified in at least one Enterprise level Security System | | | | Additional Notes | | | | ·       Probationary period of 90 days | | | | ·       Individuals with a felony or misdemeanor convictions MAY not be | | hired | | | | ·       Individuals must not have any alcohol or drug-related | | convictions or suspensions within the past three years | | | | ·       Individual must be able to read and understand instructions in | | English as well as possess good oral and written communication skills | | | | ·       Individual must be able to pass a drug and physical screening as | | well as a background check | | | | ·       Individual must be available to work variable hours | +--------------------------------------------------------------------------+
