POSITION TITLE: Warehouse Manager

JOB DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Manage the picking, packing and shipping of all outgoing customer orders using established procedures, shipping supplies and customer requirements.

· Manage quality control process for inspection of product upon receipt of new shipments. Inspection will be conducted by product engineer.

· Receive incoming product shipments, properly labeling and accounting for condition and quantities.

· Prioritize daily and weekly activities and communicate a plan to warehouse associates.

· Prepare weekly schedule for associates to meet priorities and to provide opportunities for cross-training.

· Manage Warehouse to provide a safe, secure, and clean environment.

· Work with returns / receiving clerk to receive and ship product as necessary.

· Conduct scheduled inventory counts as planned by company.

· Order warehouse supplies as needed while looking for new opportunities to minimize warehouse expenses.

· Monitor product inventory elements, i.e., condition, inventory aging and turnover, down-stocking, carton labeling, product location, and take corrective action if necessary.

· Work with carriers and customers to arrange LTL / Parcel scheduling.

· Ensure warehouse remains compliant with customer shipping and packing requirements.

· Perform other duties that may be required based on business need.

REPORTS TO:

· Operations Manager

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Warehouse Associates

REQUIRED SKILLS:

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

· Excellent computer skills, especially proficient in MS Office Word and Excel.

· Ability to work under time pressure for task completion.

· Ability to multi-task and prioritize work activities to achieve desired goals.

· Strong attention to detail.

· Ability work both independently and as part of a team.

· Ability to work in warehouse conditions, including working on your feet for extended periods of time, bending, twisting, lifting boxes up to 75lbs.

· Understanding of time management and establishing priorities.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

· 2-3 years of warehouse experience

· High School Diploma or equivalent.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

· 2-4 years warehouse experience.

· Bachelors Degree in related field of study.

Compensation:

Salary Hourly Commission Bonus
