    We are looking for an Interior Designer position (Remote or Relocation to MHK) with some travel

    expected, requiring a professional degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture with 3-5 years of multifamily interior

    design experience, with NCIDQ licensed preferred, responsible for assisting the project team with interior design of projects

    from early schematics/programming through construction administration.

    Must have strong proficiencies in Sketchup, Revit, Enscape and BIM modeling. This role

    would be responsible collaboration with the Senior Interior Designer and assist in developing and

    implementing standards and best practices, performing the interior design scope with mood boards,

    renderings, and drawings to convey the design intent including more technical plans, reflected ceiling

    plans, finish and furniture/art plans, and communicating with vendors and dealers for FF&E on 4-5

    projects from various teams at a time and in all phases of design.

    Our headquarters are located in Manhattan, KS, although we have remote employees across multiple

    states including other parts of Kansas, Texas, Michigan, Indiana, and Colorado.

    Company. Our projects are all over the US and consist of market rate and affordable housing deals with

    mid-to-high rise construction types for multi-family apartments, student housing, mixed-use, and hotel.

    The AIA equivalent to this role would be:

    Interior designer level I. Three or more years of professional experience and bachelor’s

    degree in interior design required. Certification as a licensed professional is preferred but not

    required.

    Generates architectural concepts for interiors projects, including material, such as furniture and

    equipment planning, special design concepts and requirements, floor plan analysis, condition of

    building site, personal property, integrated structural components, and mechanical and electrical

    and visual design concepts. Responsible for carrying out these design assignments requiring

    the development of new or improved techniques or design. Normally works on the project to

    middle point of construction work, then follows up with construction team. Works with a

    senior-level designer on more complex projects.
