AWS INFRASTRUCTURE ARCHITECT

LOCATION: Chicago IL, Local Client sites and Remote

EMPLOYMENT STATUS: Full time Permanent – Billable Resource (Contract Options are available)

COMPENSATION: Competitive Base Salary + Full Medical Benefits, Matching 401k Package and paid vacation time.

POSITION SUMMARY:  

The AWS Infrastructure Architect role is a key position within the AWS Solutions Practice at Prime TSR.   We are seeking experienced Technology Professionals who are comfortable wearing multiple hats and can drive business with our clients.  You will work closely with our clients helping them solve the difficult technology challenges they face. 

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

The AWS Infrastructure Architect leverages knowledge of AWS, including Cloud computing, storage area networks, virtualization, server hardware, operating systems, networking, applications, and security infrastructure to help document, shape, and direct the technology roadmap for Cloud Migration and Native Cloud Development projects.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: REQUIRED:

• Strong infrastructure and programming experience
• Understanding of AWS CLOUD ADOPTION FRAMEWORK
• LAMP Stack and Linux experience
• Experience building private AMI'S ON VPC'S
• Experience with AWS Services (EC2, S3, CLOUDFRONT, LAMBDA ETC)
• Configuration Management Tools (TERRAFORM AND ANSIBLE/PUPPET)
• Scripting experience must (BASH/PYTHON PREFERRED)
• CI/CD EXPERIENCE
• AWS Associate Certification is preferred – not required (Certification training dollars available)
• AWS CERTIFIED SYSOPS PROFESSIONAL
• AZURE OR GCP IAAS, PAAS TECHNOLOGIES
• Minimum of 5 years working in a client facing technical consulting role
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong technical presentation skills and the ability to whiteboard technical solutions
• Ability to translate technical solutions into layman terms
• Must be highly organized with the ability to write clear and detailed documentation
