Job Responsibilities:
As a Solar Salesman/Canvasser, your role is pivotal in generating leads, scheduling sales appointments, and converting potential customers to adopt our solar energy solutions. Your responsibilities involve a combination of canvassing, lead generation, and effective sales presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Generation:
Conduct door-to-door canvassing in assigned neighborhoods and areas to identify potential customers interested in solar energy solutions.
Engage with homeowners, providing comprehensive information about the benefits of solar energy, our company's offerings, and available incentives for solar installations.
Collect detailed homeowner information, including name, phone number, address, homeowner's title, and email address
Appointment Scheduling:
Take ownership of the sales process by scheduling sales appointments for yourself with interested homeowners.
Enter customer information accurately into our CRM system.
Maintain a professional and respectful demeanor during all customer interactions.
Sales Presentation Process:
Conduct thorough and compelling sales presentations to homeowners, emphasizing the advantages of our solar solutions.
Address questions and concerns raised by homeowners during the presentation.
Build and nurture relationships with potential customers to instill confidence in our products and services
Meeting Targets:
Work diligently to meet lead generation and appointment scheduling targets, conducting outreach during the designated hours.
Aim to schedule a minimum of 15 appointments per week, ensuring a steady pipeline of potential customers.
Lead-to-Sale Conversion:
Facilitate a seamless transition from lead to sale by providing the sales team with detailed customer information and context.
Collaborate with the sales team to follow up on appointments, ensuring effective communication and addressing any challenges during the sales presentation.
Work Schedule:
Expect to work Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm with the flexibility to organize appointments accordingly.
Lead Generation Expectations:
Generate high-quality leads through door-to-door canvassing efforts.
Schedule a minimum of 15 appointments per week with homeowners interested in solar energy solutions.
Conversion Expectations:
Aim for an average of 8 closed sales per month resulting from the appointments you schedule.
