Overview

To carry out door-to-door marketing for a company or organization to promote its products, services, or causes.

The door-to-door canvasser job is all about effective and professional communication to help people understand and support the company or organization to promote the products, services, and causes. A successful candidate will possess strong communication skills, excellent time management skills, persuasiveness, and customer-service-oriented. Additionally, the candidate should be willing to work evenings and weekends and have access to reliable transportation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct door-to-door canvassing in a polite and professional manner.

Introduce the company or organization and its products, services, or causes to potential customers or supporters.

Provide accurate and relevant information to those interested in acquiring the company's or organization's products, services, or supporting its causes.

Maintain a positive, upbeat attitude that conveys the company's or organization's values and mission.

Record the names and addresses of potential customers or supporters for future outreach.

Follow up with interested parties that were not available or not ready to purchase or support the company or organization at the time of the visit.

Maintain accurate records of interactions with potential and existing customers or supporters.

Represent the company or organization in an ethical and professional manner.

Be knowledgeable of the products, services, or causes of the company or organization.

Keep up-to-date with industry developments, and implement new techniques to improve the success rate of canvassing efforts.

Qualifications:

Outgoing and assertive personality.

Proficient in time management.

Ability to work with a team.

Must possess a driver's license and have reliable transportation.

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite and internet research.

Experience in door-to-door canvassing is preferred.

Ability to work evenings and weekends, at times in inclement weather.

Customer service oriented with willingness to help others..

Compensation:

$1200 a month, plus $85 per appointment completed, bonuses, and other growth opportunities. Average annual pay is $75,000+.
