    As we continue our evolution and growth into a leading HCM SaaS technology provider to businesses, we are seeking our next Business Development Representative who will help us accelerate growth of our human capital management (HCM) product to midsized businesses (ideally 50 to 500 employees). You will be responsible for engaging with marketing-qualified leads and setting qualified meetings for sales reps with the goal to generate new pipeline. This is the ideal position for self-motivated, curious, and resilient individuals with a goal-oriented mindset.

    What YOU will be doing:

    • Follow up on marketing-qualified leads (MQLs) on a timely basis
    • Make outbound calls (including cold calls) and emails to prospective PrimePay clients
    • Engage and qualify prospects via phone, web chat, email, and other tools
    • Organize initial discovery meetings
    • Support marketing campaign efforts such as driving attendance and following up on events
    • Use and maintain CRM and prospecting tools (e.g., Salesforce, ZoomInfo, Outreach, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
    • Future: Execute free trial offerings to prospects with the goal to convert them to paid users

    Success will come if you have:

    • Prior business development experience in B2B SaaS is ideal but not required
    • Excellent customer facing ability to interact in a way that feels conversational and adapt their style to fit the audience
    • Product-driven with deep curiosity in learning and understanding our product and how it solves our customer’s problems
    • Organized and detail-oriented to who can organize their sales process so that it’s easily repeatable and ensures we maximize every lead they qualify
    • Persistent to make numerous calls and follow up with potential leads, and fluid enough to shake off those “no’s” and learn how to pivot their sales approach when needed Self-critical and coachable. Uses data to maximize their potential for success but are willing to try new things and put suggestions into practice to improve their sales performance
    • BA/BS preferred
