    WHAT YOU’LL DO

    Position Description:

    The Education Consultant is responsible for providing training and implementation support of the Balanced Learning curriculum for Primrose Schools nationally. The Education Consultant establishes strong relationships with Franchise Owners to ensure the delivery of a premier early education experience. The successful EC will have the ability to influence without authority and drive business results through strong business relationships, both with internal and external partners.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Serves as subject matter expert for The Classroom Observation and Coaching Cycle, Balanced Assessment, behavioral guidance and overall curriculum implementation for Franchise Owners

    Supports New School Onboarding during the pre-opening process for education content related to the Primrose Balanced Learning approach, curriculum, and technology

    · Verifies the execution of Balanced Learning and identifies opportunities for improvement with Franchise Owners in collaboration with the School Excellence Team

    Conducts virtual and in-person market visits to ensure developmentally appropriate teaching strategies aligned to the curriculum are being used in each classroom

    Completes Education Support Visit Summary within 48-hour period and submits to Franchise Owner, Coach/SBC, Sr. Director, Education Consulting, Director, New School Support, and uploads to FranConnect

    Collaborates with other members of the School Excellence Team to provide additional support to selected mature schools to increase enrollment

    Conducts interim observational visits to schools that pilot innovative programs (as assigned)

    Reviews learning content related to the execution of the Balanced Learning Curriculum to validate content and provide feedback internally

    Asks powerful questions that stimulate clarity and insight or move the Franchise Owner toward their goals

    Adjusts style to meet the needs and level of expertise of the Franchise Owner

    Checks for understanding and recommends resources for areas where clarity is needed

    · Provides support to the Director, Education Consulting as needed on special projects or other key initiatives

    WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    We seek to build teams of individuals who maintain trusted relationships, demonstrate accountability, influence without authority, have a service mindset, agility, and curiosity. Our ideal candidate will possess a mix of the following skills and competencies:

    Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education required, or related field

    Master’s degree in Teaching, or a related field is required

    Early childhood classroom teaching experience

    Formal coaching experience in Early Childhood Education setting preferred

    Knowledge and experience with Primrose curriculum and programming preferred

    Excellent communication skills, including comfort with speaking in front of large groups of people

    Excellent customer service, and problem-solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress and influence without authority

    Formal training in behavioral guidance strategies

    Strong organization skills and writing skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel

    Able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment
