WHAT YOU’LL DO
The Senior Director, Campus Design works closely with the Primrose Schools National Architect and Building/ Facilities Committee on matters of maintaining and updating the Primrose Schools prototype building and site design. This individual serves as an advisor to the Development Management team and the New School Opening team to ensure continuity of design with any changes to the FF&E package and/ or subsequent layouts. The Senior Director, Campus Design partners with Franchise Administration on all school renewals and transfers to conduct campus inspections and other renewal/ transfer campus design requirements.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Partners with Franchise Administration as the SME and owner of all school renewal and transfer Campus Evaluations; monitors all project tasks and items to be complete to facilitate a smooth renewal and/ or transfer.
Perform all campus evaluations for Primrose School franchise renewals. Files summary reports to ensure compliance and liaise with Franchise Administration and School Excellence on scheduling and follow-up.
Perform all campus evaluations for Primrose Schools undergoing a transfer of ownership. File summary reports and work with the seller and buyer to achieve Brand standards at closing. Liaise with Franchise Administration and School Excellence to insure a successful transition.
Serves as the main point of contact for all Franchise Owners with questions or concerns about site and building issues, design change request, and new product evaluations.
Advises owners requesting assistance on building and site issues in relation to construction, renovation, repairs and maintenance.
Leads same site school expansion projects including:
o Preparation of initial expansion request information to be submitted through Franchise Administration to the Executive team members for review.
o Assisting owners in getting sources for architecture and construction contractors.
o Advising owners during construction and perform a verification of construction and Brand accuracy post certificate of occupancy.
o Ensuring expansion contracts are filed and expansion fees paid by the owners.
Administer programs for brand refreshes, classroom renovations and playground initiatives based on the agreed upon timelines for completion by existing Primrose Schools and track their completion on each phase.
Leads the submission and approval process for all DCR (Design Change Requests).

Bachelor’s degree in architecture or construction management preferred
10 + years construction/ design experience
Experience with CAD
Management experience preferred
Proven ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and deadlines, while continuing to deliver service excellence.
Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to multiple groups, both up and down/ internal and external.
Proven ability to stay organized and detail-oriented, while being self-directed and self-motivated.
Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Power Point, Word, and Excel.
