WHAT YOU’LL DO
The School Training Manager is responsible is responsible for helping map, guide, develop, and evaluate training plans and training implementation as well as lead the execution of strategic initiatives for the Training team. This person will oversee the ongoing alignment and accuracy of course content and will be instrumental in ensuring continued IACET reaccreditation.Duties and Responsibilities:
Plans and executes assigned special projects or other key initiatives related to Training and Development
Manages the Design and Development stages of the Training Development process
Critically evaluates existing training content to determine amplified methods of delivery
Determines necessary resources, tools, workshop materials, and assessment tools to properly implement and evaluate learning events in partnership with the Instructional Designer
Manages annual course review and revision process
Partners with the Communications team to distribute available training content to Franchise Owners
Maintains alignment and accuracy of content in training in eLearning library
Updates Continual Learning Plans and Orientation and Continual Learning Guides as needed
Oversees approval for external training certificates
Serves as lead administrator and oversees the functionality and utilization of learning manager
Begins needs analysis phase of the IACET process for training development and works with SME within the company to follow the IACET approved process for the development of any CEU qualified training
Serves on task force and participates as adherence reviewer during the year
Gathers evidence throughout the year for IACET reaccreditation and annual report
Critically evaluates training plans to ensure all steps are being taken, documented, and adhered in alignment with IACET accreditation
Partners with Talent and Performance to support the training of PSFC as needed
Provides additional support as needed for updating TD Gateway, answering support desk tickets, delivering training, editing training slide decks, and building courses in Rise
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We seek to build teams of individuals who maintain trusted relationships, demonstrate accountability, influence without authority, have a service mindset, agility and curiosity. Our ideal candidate will possess a mix of the following skills and competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in related field; Master’s degree strongly preferred
5 + years working in the field of instructional design, curriculum/ instruction, and/ or training
2 + years’ experience training adults
2+ years’ experience working in early childhood education strongly preferred
Proven ability to juggle multiple competing priorities and deadlines, while continuing to deliver service excellence.
Proven ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally, to multiple groups, both up and down/ internal and external.
Proven ability to stay organized and detail-oriented, while being self-directed and self-motivated.
Proven collaborator with the ability to rally multiple resources to accomplish goals.
Proven ability to provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Power Point, Word, Excel, and Publisher. Experience with Adobe, Sharepoint, and WebEx Teams.
Basic proficiency with creative design with the ability to design and build agendas, handbooks, handouts, and brochures.
Proven basic financial acumen with the ability to manage simple budgets.
Ability to analyze quantitative and qualitative data at a basic level of proficiency.
Ability to manage the various facets of on-site and off-site training management, including venue management, IT need management, communications, and basic vendor management.
