    We are seeking enthusiastic teachers (FT/PT) who want to make a difference and put their talents to use. We are currently looking for preschool teachers, floater teachers, toddler teachers, and infant teachers Each new addition to the Primrose Family has the opportunity to strengthen the message of why Primrose Teams do what we do, to reinforce how we make a difference, and to expand our ability to serve more children and families.     The Teacher is responsible for general classroom management and supervision, which includes the personal care, hygiene, and positive discipline of the children. He or she plans and implements the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum, which includes activities for children that stress physical, social, and emotional growth and provides materials and resources for children to explore, manipulate, and use, both in learning activities and in active play. The Teacher prepares materials and classrooms for class activities and conducts all activities in a safe, organized, and productive manner.

    Qualifications:

    Previous experience working with children is preferred.

    Must be energetic and fun

    Ability to relate positively with young children; Nurturing, warm, friendly and patient.

    Must have a passion for children and work well with a team

    Must continue to accumulate required hours of training as required by state licensing agency and/or corporate office.

    Must be able to life up to 35lbs in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety and potential emergency situations.

    Responsibilities:

    Is responsible for the overall supervision and daily class functions of a group of children.

    Observes all rules and regulations at Primrose School and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children.

    Assesses each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis.

    Implements the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and programming.

    Plans with a member of the Leadership Team the parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations.

    Maintains an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence.

    Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for the children's behavior.

    Accepts responsibility for maintenance and necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.

    Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions.

    Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in our Handbook

    Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary.

    Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
