    The Primrose School of Atlanta Westside is seeking full time teachers with a BACHELORS OR ASSOCIATES DEGREE for our new facility.

    SHORTLIST OF WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

    • Implementing the approved lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum and programming
    • Assessing and responding to each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis
    • Observing all school policies and procedures and the regulations of local, state, or national agencies pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children
    • Maintaining an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence
    • Assisting with other job functions as necessary

    MINIMUM OF WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TABLE:

    • Education requirements (minimum)

      • Lead Teachers: Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or in a related field;
      • Assistant Teachers: Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field;
      • Support Teachers: Child Development Associate Credential; Technical Certificate of Credit; or Georgia Paraprofessional Educator Certification
    • Experience requirements

      • Lead Teacher: 3-5 years previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood facility
      • Assistant/Support Teachers: 1-3 years previous teaching or assistant teaching position in a licensed early childhood facility
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

    • Coachable, competent, and confident

    • Strong classroom management and organizational skills

    • Passion for working with children and a commitment to building positive relationships with families and the community

    • Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations.
