Previous experience working in childcare in not required but beneficial. This role would suit someone who has experience in customer facing roles who enjoys interactions with customers and, of course with young children!
Make a difference every day. Primary Responsibilities:
This is a customer facing position that Interact with families who would like to enroll at our school
Respond to online and phone new parent enquiries and schedule tours
Conduct the school tours and ensure all enrollment/registration documents are completed
Maintain classrooms waitlist, regularly engage with the families who are waiting for their spot
Support the Director with planning for classroom transitions
Manage social media and marketing activities and execute marketing plan
Provide general administrative support to the Leadership Team and Front Desk coverage when required
Provide superior customer service to all external and internal customers
Manage Lead CRM to maximize enrollment
Plan school events in coordination with the Director
Facilitates monthly staff and parent appreciation events
Assumes responsibility to manage operation of the school in the absence of the Director
Knowledge of and adheres to employment laws and compliance issues related to those laws.
Assists in keeping school physically well kept, attractive, and safe
Attends all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions
Maintains overall professional personal appearance adhering to the guidelines offered in the Primrose School of Brier Creek Employee Handbook
Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary
Qualifications and required skills:
High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree in any field preferred.
Experience working in a customer facing roles
Strong planning and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to details
Proficient technology user (computer, emails, MS Office, social media marketing platforms, CRM experience desirable)
Takes initiative
Passion for serving others (teachers, families, and students)
Thrives in a fast-paced environment
Desired skills and experience:
Must meet requirements of local child care regulatory agency and Primrose School of Brier Creek
A degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education, or related field, and/or at least two years’ work experience in a licensed child care facility, kindergarten or early childhood program preferred
Experience in management, business, and/or public relations preferred
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations
