Primrose School of Evergreen is seeking fun loving and informative, part-time and full-time instructor for our after-school program. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to gain experience in the field of Early Childhood Education or Elementary school while pursuing completion of their own education.
As an after-school instructor, you will be working with children ranging in age from 5 to 11 years old. We are seeking individuals who are energetic, organized, problem solvers and who possess great communication skills. Individuals need to be passionate about and dedicated to the success of our future generation.
Using our provided daily schedule and research-informed curriculum, the guesswork is taken out of the classroom, and you can spend your energy engaging with the children.

Qualifications:
Patient and dedicated with a strong desire to guide and nurture children and families
Pleasant, friendly and compassionate demeanor.
12 or more core units in Early Childhood Education required.
Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred
Must meet required state background check
Proficient computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with parents
Professional, dependable, and reliable
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain.
Valid Drivers License to operate and drive small school bus
Primary Responsibilities:
Create a safe and nurturing environment in accordance with state and school licensing standards
Implement lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the provided Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum
Continually Observe and Assess each child's developmental needs and strengths
Drives to local schools and transports children back to Primrose
Maintains an attractive, organized classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence
Cultivates positive relationships with families and colleagues
Provides verbal recognition and acceptance to children while providing clear and consistent expectations for children's behavior.
Necessary housekeeping duties of the classroom, common use areas and playgrounds.
