As an Infant Teacher at Primrose School of Evergreen, you will provide a safe and loving environment for babies ranging in age from six weeks to 12 months old. With a captivating and provided curriculum of music, puppetry and storytelling you will provide opportunities for our youngest children to safely discover and explore their expanding world. Qualifications:
Must have patience and a strong desire to love and nurture young children
Pleasant, friendly, and compassionate demeanor.
12 or more core units in Early Childhood Education preferred
3 ECE units in Infant/Toddler preferred
Work experience in a licensed childcare facility preferred
Must meet required state background check
Proficient computer skills and ability to communicate effectively with parents
Professional, dependable, and reliable
Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs.
CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
Primary Responsibilities:
Create a safe and nurturing environment in accordance with state and school licensing standards
Implements lesson plans and daily classroom schedule in accordance with the provided Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum
Continually Observe and Assess each child's developmental needs and strengths
Maintains an attractive, organized classroom that encourages children to create, explore and make decisions with confidence
Cultivates positive relationships with families and colleagues
