    QUALIFICATIONS

    A Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Primary Education or related field

    Site Supervisor or Director's Permit

    At least two years of Director level experience in a licensed early childhood program or at least five years of lead teacher experience

    Must meet all requirements stipulated by the state for this position

    Some administrative or business experience a plus

    Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality

    Excellent communication, customer service, and problem solving skills, including the ability to maintain composure under stress

    Strong organization skills, able to multi-task, and can manage time to meet frequently changing deadlines in a fast-paced environment

    Highly professional and dependable

    Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations

    Primary Responsibilities:

    Helps the Director operate and manage all aspects of the school, including business management, education and continual learning and development, campus environment, and marketing and communications

    Assists the Director with the necessary management responsibilities to ensure maximum enrollment and effective cost control to produce profit

    Assumes responsibility to manage operation of the school in the Director’s absence

    Oversees and ensures consistent implementation of the Balanced Learning System for all students enrolled at a Primrose school

    Consistently implements the Primrose Schools’ Continual Learning Plan to prepare and support teaching staff

    Actively develops and maintains positive staff relationships and parent partnerships and manages all resources effectively

    Establishes and maintains respectful working relationships with state licensing authorities

    Ability to perform all of the essential functions for each position in the school, including, but not limited to, other leadership team positions, teacher, food service teacher, and bus driver

    Observes all rules and regulations pertaining to the health, safety, and care of children

    Attends all required staff meetings, workshops, and/or school functions as determined by the Director

    Maintains a professional personal appearance, attitude, and work behavior at all times

    Assists in other capacities that Director, or designee, determines is necessary

    Performs other duties as assigned
