JOB DUTIES:
Maintains and sets up files of all enrolled children.
Help maintain a healthy and safe environment.
Communicate positively with students, parents and staff. Provide exceptional customer service.
Participate collaboratively and professionally with other teachers and staff to promote the general well-being of the school, and collective/individual interest of its staff and student body.
Office duties include: filing, maintaining children files, updating website and parent communications . Answers phones and provides a presence at the front desk. Tracks or records all other activities that take place at school (pictures, fundraisers, family events, etc.).
Occasionally provides in-classroom coverage for teaching staff, including breaks, absences and shift changes.
Supports local marketing strategy to generate and retain enrollment. Maintains proactive and positive relationships with parents and prospective parents. Timely answers inquiries (in-person, via email or via phone)
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Prior experience working in a school environment is preferred.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
The ability to professionally communicate effectively and positively.
Ability to obtain cooperation (internally and/or externally) is essential.
Working in conjunction with an administrative team is a material part of the job, requiring a significant level of diplomacy, confidentiality and trust.
Remains accessible and responsive to parents, students and staff.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Demonstrate ability to utilize email and the Internet.
Must be able to provide all relative clearances and training required by the State of Florida.

This position is full time from 10:30 AM to 6:45PM with a one hour lunch break.
Responsibilities: Clerical
Answer phones
Check voicemail
Deliver and relay messages to classrooms
Maintain inventories of office and school supplies
Prepare mailings
Organize supply closet
Help coordinate all school events and activities.
File documentation in Child Folders
Copier maintenance, including calling in for repairs or ink replacement
Communications:
Assist in marketing
Edit and proofread communication
Assist in social marketing as needed (i.e. Facebook and Twitter posts)
School Administration General
Notify parents of sick children
Help organize, maintain and audit student files
Print out attendance (check-in/check-out) sheets from database for all classrooms
Assist in preparation for school events
Maintain staff roster, school children/parent rosters, emergency cards and allergies/special notations for children
Provide assistance in classrooms
