We are looking for an organized and hardworking housekeeper to join our team, Monday - Friday 3:00 pm - 10:00 pm.

Daily tasks include:

Sweeping/vacuuming, mopping

Laundering naptime bedding and soft classroom materials

Cleaning and sanitizing high touch areas and items

Collecting and disposing of trash from offices and common areas

Dusting

Cleaning student and staff bathrooms

Emptying, cleaning, and refilling water dispensers

Gathering, stocking, and/or delivering supplies

Assisting in all applicable areas of the school as needed

Qualifications and Requirements:

Must meet background check requirements for employment in the childcare industry and additional school requirements may apply

Ability to work independently, stay on task, and remain motivated

Performs tasks with speed and attention to detail

Able to walk 3-5 miles a day and lift up to 40 pounds

Effective communication skills

Strong organization skills

Understand that the purpose of the position is to support the team

Willing to take initiative

Strong understanding of the need for a clean environment

Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitizing processes

Must be able to read and follow detailed written and verbal instructions

Must be able to use mechanical equipment, such as carpet cleaner, vacuum, tools etc.

Must be able to use various chemicals and cleaning agents
