  • Responsibilities

    Primrose School at West Woods is located in Arvada, Colorado and we are seeking a Full Time Administrative Assistant for our private preschool. Primrose School at West Woods is an accredited private preschool that provides a premier educational child care experience. We offer year-round programs for children from infant through elementary-aged school age. Administrative Assistant must be Lead Qualified and able to work 7:00am-4:00am or 8:30pm-5:30pm Monday-Friday. No nights or weekends!

    Job Responsibilities:

    Be Accountable! Ensure the school operates in accordance with company and state licensing standards.

    Be Responsible! Check child attendance and help maintain classroom ratios. Must be willing to work with all age groups (Infants through age 12), cover teacher absences as needed.

    Be Organized! Inventory of classroom and school supply items. For example, paint, paper, gloves, etc.

    Be Diligent! Assisting in answering classroom codes, filing paperwork in a timely manner and answering all calls in a courteous manner, take messages and provide relevant information to customers. Administer medication to students, check temperatures, and notify parents of student illness.

    Be Positive! Promote the positive image of the company and play a key role in making the company a provider of choice for the communities we serve. Greet new and existing families.

    Be Team-oriented! Assist with the hiring process for new staff, including applicant follow-up, preparing materials for incoming staff and welcoming and mentoring new hires. Assists in keeping school physically well kept, attractive, and safe. Taking ownership in this position and being a role model. Maintain confidentiality!

    Job Requirements:

    Must be at least 21 years of age

    High School Diploma or equivalent, CDA or Associate/Bachelor’s degree required.

    Must have at least 1 year of experience working in a licensed childcare facility.

    Must meet state requirements for education and our center/school requirements.

    Must be willing to drive the Bus

    Must pass Background Check upon start.
