We are looking for an experience, professional to join our team as a Lead Teacher working with our 2 to 3 year old children.

Job Responsibilities:

Maintain a positive relationship with parents, children, and co-workers

Maintain a positive, appropriately-structured environment while adhering to the classroom schedule

Implement the approved lesson plans in accordance with the Primrose Balanced Learning® curriculum

Assess each child's developmental needs on an ongoing basis

Maintain an attractive, well-kept classroom that encourages children to create and explore

Attend all required staff meetings, workshops and/or school functions, ensuring that training requirements are met or exceeded

Observe all rules and regulations of Primrose School and the local, state or national regulatory agencies pertaining to the health, safety and care of children

Requirements:

Ability to relate positively to young children

Previous teaching experience in a public or private school, preschool or childcare center

Knowledge of social, emotional and creative needs of young children

Excellent communication skills

Skills in time management with the ability to organize environment and prioritize work

Certification or degree related to early childhood or elementary education is preferred
