Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft Azure services, including virtual machines, storage solutions, networking components, and database platforms.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates and/or Terraform.
- Strong understanding of Azure networking concepts, including virtual networks (VNets), subnets, and network security groups (NSGs).
- Experience working with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Azure Active Directory (AAD) for identity and access management, along with automation using scripting languages such as PowerShell or Azure CLI.
- Experience utilizing Azure DevOps to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Familiarity with Azure monitoring and management tools, including Azure Monitor and Azure Log Analytics.
- Solid understanding of Azure security capabilities and cloud security best practices.
- Experience with Azure Backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Proven ability to manage IT projects, with a focus on delivering technical implementations and initiatives.
- Ability to evaluate business requirements, assess technology solutions, and develop high-level designs aligned with organizational goals and long-term strategy.
- Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure in public cloud environments, specifically AWS and/or Azure.
- Demonstrated alignment with organizational mission, brand principles, and core values, with the ability to model and apply these behaviors in daily work.
Preferred Qualifications
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) and/or Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104).
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305: Designing Microsoft Azure Infrastructure Solutions) preferred.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline.
- At least ten years of experience supporting the operations, maintenance, and administration of IT infrastructure.
- Minimum of five years of experience serving in a Solution Architect, Principal or Senior Engineer, Lead Developer, or comparable role, with demonstrated expertise in designing cloud-native solutions and applying cloud security best practices and compliance frameworks.
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and relevant professional experience will be considered.
