Role You Will Play
The Principal Consulting Health Actuary will provide consulting services and manage clients.
This role is responsible for managing all aspects of multiemployer, private, and/or public sector active health and welfare plans (e.g., cash flow projections, benefit change pricing, business partner selection and negotiations, etc.).
This role will oversee the work of client team staff as well as mentor and train staff in addition to leading client and internal client team meetings.
The Principal Consulting Health Actuary will maintain client relationships and manage client contract and invoicing processes.
This role is on a succession plan to eventually inherit major clients and act as a senior leading actuary in the firm.

Ideal Background Profile
20+ years of employer sponsored health care actuarial consulting experience in multi-employer and/or private sector
Expertise in managing all aspects of multiemployer, private, and/or public sector active health and welfare plans consulting including review of actuarial results and health care work.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint); Access, SQL, and/or JAVA a plus; and familiarity with Business Intelligence programs (ex. Power BI, Tableau)

Bachelor’s Degree in Actuarial Science or related field, required
