Description of Duties:
The Principal Developer is responsible for providing technical leadership and setting solution design direction across multiple software development initiatives. Duties include designing, building, and supporting applications end-to-end using Microsoft technologies such as Azure, .NET, SQL, and Angular, while maintaining hands-on involvement in development. The position also leads DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure support, and works closely with agency IT teams in enterprise or multi-agency environments. Additionally, the role serves as a technical liaison to stakeholders, leading technical discussions and translating complex concepts into clear, non-technical guidance.
