Job Description
The Principal Events Manager at ATPCO is responsible for the planning, coordination, and execution of company events, both internal and external. This includes supporting third-party industry events, customer conferences, such as ATPCO’s flagship event, Elevate, and internal functions, ensuring a seamless experience that aligns with ATPCO's brand and strategic goals. The role requires strong organizational skills, creative thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and events at once, while maintaining a focus on delivering to budget. The role also requires a strong project management skill set, and the ability to manage and run events from both a larger event scope, right down to the finer details.
Duties & Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
Minimum 10 years of experience in event management with a proven track record of delivering complex events from concept to execution.
CMP certification
Strong agile project management skills , including planning, budgeting, vendor negotiation, and risk management.
Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders at varying levels of seniority.
Experience with large-scale or high-profile events , both virtual and in-person.
Proficiency in project management and event software tools (e.g., Asana, Airtable, Cvent, or equivalent).
Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Marketing, Communications , or a related field.
PMP or Agile-related Project Management certification such as CSM, ACSM, CPSM, CAL, or CAF.
Salary Range : $106,400 – $118,050
