    About Us: AR Consultants, Inc. is a well-established cultural resource management firm based in Richardson, Texas. We specialize in archaeological investigations throughout Texas and beyond, delivering high-quality research and compliance services to public and private sector clients.

    Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Principal Investigator to lead archaeological field investigations, manage projects, and contribute to technical reporting. This role involves approximately 50% fieldwork, with the remainder dedicated to office-based tasks including research, analysis, and client communication.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead archaeological surveys, testing, and data recovery projects.

    Supervise field crews and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.

    Prepare and review technical reports, research designs, and proposals.

    Coordinate with clients, agencies, and subcontractors.

    Contribute to project budgets, schedules, and quality control.

    Required Qualifications:

    M.A. or M.S. in Anthropology, Archaeology, or related field.

    Minimum 5 years of experience as a Principal Investigator on CRM projects.

    Strong management skills.

    Knowledge of the Antiquities Code of Texas, Section 106 of the NHPA, and other relevant regulations.

    Strong writing and communication skills.

    Ability to work in the field under varying conditions.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Regional expertise in Texas or the surrounding areas.

    Experience with GIS and digital field data collection.

    Permitted or eligible for permitting in Texas and neighboring states.

    Compensation: $85,000-95,000 annually commensurate with experience.
