The Opportunity
As the Principal Product Manager for the AI Platform, you will define and drive the vision for a unified, enterprise-grade platform that orchestrates and scales the creation of original content for the world’s leading media and entertainment companies.
You will lead the product definition for a composable, API-first platform. You will develop nonlinear, interactive, and agentic creative workflows across surfaces, integrating Adobe’s best-in-class creative tools with extensible, reusable building blocks. Your work will accelerate time-to-value for customers, enable scalable growth, and ensure Adobe remains at the forefront of creative production technology.
What You’ll Do
• Set Product Vision & Strategy for the AI Platform, emphasizing coordination, merging, and adaptability for extensive creative workflows.
• Address Customer Needs: Collaborate with enterprise customers, creative teams, and embedded Adobe experts to understand existing workflows, identify difficulties, and translate discovery into product requirements.
• Build & Launch Platform Capabilities: Lead the development and delivery of core platform features, including workflow orchestration, composable functions, API integrations, asset versioning, and real-time collaboration across Adobe and third-party surfaces.
• Advocate for a modular, reusable architecture to speed up workflow creation, customer onboarding, and scale for numerous customers.
• Measure Success: Define and monitor important indicators to evaluate platform adoption, workflow efficiency, and customer happiness, ensuring the platform delivers measurable business value.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Partner with engineering, design, applied science, and go-to-market teams to develop and grow the platform. Communicate advancements and strategic perspectives to senior leadership and team members.
• Keep the platform modern by analyzing feedback, updating features, and staying current with industry trends.
Keys for success
• Education & Experience: Bachelor’s or postgraduate degree or equivalent experience in Business, Technology, or related fields. 8+ years of product management experience, with a focus on platforms, APIs, or creative/media technologies.
• Proficiency in modern workflow orchestration, API-centric architectures, and scalable infrastructure is required. Familiarity with creative production workflows, asset organization, and incorporation of various tools is essential.
• Product & Domain Knowledge: Expertise in enterprise media management, creative workflows, and GenAI/agentic automation.
• Outstanding analytical abilities to interpret complex data and convey insights clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Leadership & Collaboration: Proven ability to lead teams with different roles, manage conflicting priorities, and align various collaborators.
• Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Resourceful, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $145,100 -- $273,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.
At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
