    The team behind Adobe’s identity solutions powers every customer’s first touchpoint with the company. Identity is at the heart of how millions of people sign up, sign in, recover accounts, and access products seamlessly across devices and surfaces.

    As a Principal Product Manager, you will build the next generation of secure, simple, and intelligent identity experiences. You’ll define how we evolve authentication, MFA, passkeys, device trust, and automated risk signals-while reducing friction and improving conversion for customers globally.

    You will collaborate with global engineering, build, analytics, and product teams to solve high-visibility challenges. These include cross-device continuity, agent/LLM identity, account recovery at scale, and progressive profiling. This role offers a chance to influence every Adobe product, try innovative solutions, and deliver platform capabilities that impact activation, retention, and trust.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Product Strategy and Technical Roadmap: Define and complete the product strategy for the Identity Platform, ensuring alignment with Adobe's business goals and enterprise initiatives.
    • Technical Leadership: Work closely with engineering teams and vendors to build and implement modern identification solutions.
    • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with data science, engineering, infosec, and compliance teams to integrate identity technologies into Adobe's ecosystem.
    • Market and Industry Analysis: Research industry advancements, including device intelligence techniques and other cookie-less solutions, privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA), and guidelines in user identification and personalization.
    • Collaborator Engagement: Effectively communicate technical concepts and product vision to leadership, external partners, and cross-functional teams to drive alignment and adoption.

    What you’ll do

    • Carry out competitive analysis throughout the B2C and Education sectors to maintain the excellence of our identity platform.
    • Define product requirements and use cases based on input from customers, the field, and analyzing the overall B2C and Education market & competitive landscape.
    • Identify and address friction points in the user account lifecycle-from sign-up and login to recovery, consent management, and deactivation.
    • Collaborate with engineering, product development, customer support, marketing, security, and legal to deliver world-class identity solutions for consumer-facing and academic markets across mobile, web and desktop.
    • Lead a high-performing product team to craft and deliver seamless, secure identity experiences that delight users and scale with confidence.

    About you

    • Demonstrated success in building and scaling identity management/IAM solutions-you know what makes or breaks an authentication or account management experience.
    • A passion for solving sophisticated problems and bringing new insights to reality.
    • Skilled at the art of influencing without explicit authority.
    • Excellent written and interpersonal skills - equally able to talk to engineers, designers, senior executives, and customers.
    • An ability to evaluate alternatives and make compelling recommendations based on solid argument analysis.
    • Prior platform product management experience is a plus.
    • Experience with identity and access management (IAM) is required.
    • Data and AI Knowledge: Hands-on experience with AI/ML models for Identity and Risk.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $148,100 -- $282,100 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    In California, the pay range for this position is $194,800 - $282,100

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
