    Principal Product Manager, Risk Platform

    Job Description

    Designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production, release, and end of life. Serves as the central resource with design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing as the product(s) move to production and distribution. Involvement lasts throughout all stages of a product’s lifecycle including modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.

    In this role you will have the opportunity to build on your strong experience in Platform Product Management for a cloud services platform and your experience with Risk Management systems and platforms to deliver on the strategy and roadmap for Adobe’s global Risk Platform.

    Responsibilities:

    Product:

    • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, Sales, Product, Legal, and Customer Support to rapidly conceptualize, prototype, market validate, and launch new product ideas and innovations.
    • Develop 9 - 18 month roadmap with the ability to focus on and prioritize key themes. Communicate with customers on an ongoing basis to clearly understand their needs and define outstanding value delivery opportunity.
    • Design and conduct research and market analysis to build a deeper understanding of customers.
    • Create compelling strategy and roadmap to be prioritized on the roadmap and collaborate with the engineering, design, marketing, and sales teams to build goals and define outcomes, requirements/services, and determine the best technical implementation method and schedule. Making thoughtful tradeoffs to balance quality, customer value, and schedule.

    Influence:

    • Detailed understanding of business and product strategy to present and influence decision making of concepts, business rationale, prioritization and key findings to collaborators and VP level.
    • Present at customer briefings and at partner, press and analyst’s meetings.

    Scope:

    • Manage cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management throughout the project from inception to delivery.
    • Strong comprehension of the business impact of product to drive revenue and increase customer retention & satisfaction.

    Engineering / Technical:

    • Proficient in defining roadmaps and delivering with teams that employ agile software development methodologies.

    Typical Education, Experience, and Knowledge Level:

    • Relevant Bachelor’s degree and/or an advanced degree in a technology field or equivalent.
    • 10 - 15 years of experience
    • Demonstrated experience managing and delivering complete (end to end) life cycles.

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this positionis $145,100 -- $273,200 annually. Paywithin this range varies by work locationand may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills,and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process.

    At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

    In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
