    We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer to design, develop and deliver next-generation technologies within our Prisma Access team. We want passionate engineers who love to code and build great products. Engineers who bring new ideas in all facets of software development. We are looking for leaders who take ownership of their areas of focus and who are driven to solve problems at every level. Collaboration and teamwork are at the foundation of our culture and we need engineers who can communicate at a high level and work well with others towards achieving a common goal. The team you will join is responsible for the PrismaAccess Controller - architecting and optimizing our multi-cloud environments to build and maintain a high-availability, resilient infrastructure.

    This role is located at our dynamic Santa Clara California headquarters campus, and in office 3 days a week.

    Your Impact:

    • Design, develop and implement highly scalable software features on our next-generation security platform as part of Prisma Access
    • Work with different development and quality assurance groups to achieve best in quality software
    • Suggest and implement improvements to the development process
    • Work with DevOps and the Technical Support teams to troubleshoot customer issues
    • Interview, mentor and coach new team members
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Your Experience

    • 8+ years of experience in software engineering or infrastructure roles.
    • Experience with one or more cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, and their technologies (Lambda functions, SNS/SQS etc.)
    • Deep expertise in Kubernetes internals, operators, controllers, RBAC, service discovery, and workload scheduling.
    • Strong knowledge of databases SQL, NoSQL, Time series, GraphDB etc.
    • Extensive hands-on programming skills in Python, Go, Java/JavaScript
    • Solid understanding of networking concepts like ingress controllers, service meshes.
    • Strong leadership skills with a can-do attitude
    • High energy and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Fast learner and eager to absorb new emerging technologies

    Education:

    • M.S./B.S. degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering

    Our engineering team is at the core of the Prisma Access service. Engineers on our team work on all aspects of the management and control plane of the service. This includes, Activation, Onboarding, Configuration, Orchestration, Data, APIs and much more.     Compensation Disclosure

    The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between: $191,000 - $215,000/YR.
