ROTATIONAL FINANCIAL ANALYST DEPARTMENT: Finance, SGA LOCATION: US Corporate Office - Hanover Park, IL TYPE: Full-Time

    SUMMARY:

    This role will process, gather, develop, interpret, and present financial information across all divisions in the global organization. It will support multiple functions for a specified duration of time learning Position will create financial models for margins, expenses and other key performance metrics. This role will need to explain financial variances to budget, prior year and forecast on a periodic basis.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    Assist in the monthly and year end close processes

    Support the annual budget process

    Develop analysis and models for use of senior management in reviewing monthly, quarterly and annual financial performance and comparisons to budget/forecast/prior year

    Generate daily, weekly, monthly management reports and KPI’s that track the financial and operational performance of the organization

    Ability to data mine and create deep dive analysis on various metric areas and financial trends

    Work closely with Accounting on the monthly close processes

    Supporting senior staff with special or ad-hoc projects as requested

     

    SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS

    To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. This position handles a high volume of transactions daily.     EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required

    Attention to detail is critical

    Excellent problem solving skills

     

    COMPUTER SKILLS

    Proficient in Excel (including pivot tables, v-lookups, etc.)
