Our growing print company has an immediate need for an experienced Estimator to join our team of professionals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in cost estimating, have great attention to detail, be organized, and have the ability to work independently and as a team. The person in this position will serve as a liaison between the Owner, CSR’s and Print production teams by analyzing the most efficient production method and relaying critical project specific details on a daily basis.

Attention to detail is a must. Must have the ability to intake detailed specs on a project by project basis and organize in a clear concise manner.

Salary position based on experience.

Responsibilities and Skills:

• Take in all job specifications from client for production through delivery to assure that all information needed to calculate the cost is available
• Reach out to multiple vendors in order to obtain lowest material costs
• Determine the most efficient way to produce the project based on layout, sheet size, and equipment availability
• Determine quantities and lead times for material, hardware, packaging & labeling
• Create a detailed breakdown of cost estimate and production timeline
• Work directly with clients to review project specs and provide input as necessary
• Prepare quotes with detail ready for Project Manager to execute
• Assist with establishing cost structures & efficiencies for setting up quoting standards / processes
• Exceptionally helpful, going above and beyond to take care of customers
• Experience: 1-3 years experience estimating in a printing environment PREFERRED
• Strong verbal and written communications skills as it relates to phone conversations, chat, email and working with clients
• Expert knowledge of printing (CMYK, spot colors, crops, bleeds, press-ready art, paper stocks, offset, digital printing, etc.)
• Strong eye for detail, organization and project management
• Proficient in order entry, Windows, Outlook, Excel, Word
• Software: 3+ years experience with MS Excel, Powerpoint and MS Office. Must have strong MS Excel skills
• Clerical speed and accuracy
• Strong attention to detail, strong math skills, be organized, good problem solver.
• Promotional products experience a plus
• Education: Bachelor's Degree from a four year college or university PREFERRED
