Title: Wide Format Print Press Operator

Shift: First Shift | Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Salary: $24.00 – $27.00 per hour | Dependence on experience

Wide Format Print Press Operator Role:

This role exists to ensure the high-quality, efficient production of large-scale graphics and wallcoverings by operating advanced printing machinery. You are responsible for transforming digital designs into physical products while maintaining the structural and aesthetic integrity of our client’s brand standards.

Wide Format Print Press Operator Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate wide-format digital printers to produce high-quality graphics
• Monitor print runs consistently to ensure color accuracy and alignment
• Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on printing equipment
• Load and handle various substrates including vinyl, fabric, and paper
• Review job tickets to verify quantities, dimensions, and material specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace to optimize production flow
• Coordinate with the prepress team to resolve file or color profile issues
• Conduct quality control inspections on finished products to identify defects
• Record material usage and production times for accurate inventory tracking

Wide Format Print Press Operator Reporting Relationships:

This position reports to the Production Manager and has no direct reports.

About You:

• Possess previous experience operating wide-format or digital inkjet printers
• Demonstrate a strong eye for color matching and detail-oriented finishing
• Understand various print substrates and their specific handling requirements
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight production deadlines
• Lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods during the shift
• Maintain basic computer proficiency for ripping files and tracking jobs
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless hand-offs
• Exhibit a proactive approach to mechanical troubleshooting and problem-solving
