The Production Manager reports directly to the SpeedPro studio owner and plays a critical role in the franchise’s profit and margin potential through outstanding performance in fast turn-around times, high-quality product output, and efficiency with materials to minimize waste.
Functions:
Manage day-to-day production operations, including printing, cutting, laminating, finishing, and quality control
Oversee job scheduling, workflow prioritization, and on-time delivery of projects
Ensure customer files are print-ready, accurate, and production-ready including providing digital proofs to customers for final approval
Graphic design services (unless outsourced)
Operate and maintain wide-format printers, laminators, plotters, and other finishing equipment
Ensure all products meet SpeedPro quality standards and customer expectations.
Manage/conduct inventory and order supplies as needed
Collaborate with the sales and installation teams to ensure seamless project execution
Hire, train, and supervise production staff as needed
Smaller graphic installations
Unloading/unpacking deliveries to the studio
Vehicle inspections and measurements; performing site surveys
Packing, labeling, and shipping completed jobs; making deliveries
Utilization of CoreBridge software for estimates/quotes
Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace
Ideal candidates will also possess:
2+ years of designing/working with vehicle graphics and templates
Experience with large-format printers, laminators, plotters, and graphic and signage finishing
Associate or Bachelor’s Degree in graphic design (or similar program)
