Reports to: Director, Purchasing/Receiving, Print Shop FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (hourly) Hours: 40 Hours (full-time) Campus: Melbourne
The position includes a variety of responsibilities shared between two departments.
Print Shop Responsibilities: • Print, scan, and/or photocopy items requested by ministries • Learn Print Shop machinery and fix problems as they arise (Proverbs 2:6) • Maintain inventories in Print Shop • Oversee Judah house keys and forms and Cargo van keys • Learn and utilize EMS Lite for room and resource scheduling (and new scheduling software as needed) • Keep print logs, room and resource spreadsheets current • Learn Basecamp to find print file locations as needed • Occasionally cover the Admin reception phones • Learn and utilize Microsoft Office Suit, plus Microsoft Publisher, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat • Other duties as assigned by supervisor (John 13:34-35)
Purchasing Responsibilities: Assist the Purchasing Department with the following duties (Colossians 3:23) • Placing orders • Data entry • Process and file paperwork • Pick up ordered merchandise • Navigate online purchase system • Prepare reports as needed (1 Corinthians 14:33) • Monitor warehouse club list, ordering, and picking up supplies as needed • Maintain recycling program monthly, taking recycling to Office Depot • Occasionally cover the Admin Office reception phones • Other duties as assigned by supervisor
Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities: • Weigh, measure and prepare packages for shipping • Assist with receiving and sending of packages with UPS, Fed Ex, Vendors and USPS • Maintain logs for receiving orders & distribution of goods once received • Manage shipping sites • Able to lift 40 pounds • Prepare shipping paperwork for accounting showing all transactions
Job Skills and Competencies: • Ability to edit graphics for minor errors in material sent to the Print Shop • Good knowledge of proper grammar and punctuation • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
