We are looking for a Printing Operator to carry out laminate printing activities within approved design and product specifications as per the production plan within the agreed quality standards, and also to undertake necessary "trouble shooting" processes wherever necessary to produce highest quality produce with efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

• To Set a Printing Press per Job Docket to meet product design & quality standards
• To guarantee the printing quality within guidelines established by clients, i.e. color matching, shade variation & graphics designs.
• To carryout daily preventive maintenance in the beginning of the shift
• To operate machines as per the given design conditions and process parameters and system compliance in Shifts.
• To carryout in process inspection on Print Output as per the guidelines set
• To undertake in conjunction with production supervisor and maintenance personnel for trouble shooting, major breakdowns, and cylinder & tool changes. To spot out the problem areas and inform production supervisor with suggestions for improvements
• To maintain production & quality records for the shift via SAP/ MIS.
• To implement systems and measures to bring out higher machine efficiency and reduction in wastage on a continuous basis.

Job Context:

• The main focus area in printing will be to print designs, graphics, monitor print shade with no variation and color matching.
• To achieve production target with high efficiency, without compromising quality standards within the time frame set.

Problem Solving:

To work as a team player in establishing system improvements and sustaining it for longer period. Creating ownership among the production team and encourage team exercises.

Day to day analysis of Issues and suggest actions to overcome for future.

Qualifications:

• Must have High school diploma or equivalent (Associates degree in printing technology preferred)
• Must have acceptable visual color acuity and depth perception.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in printing area strongly preferred.
• Specialized Training: Training in Flexographic Printing.
• Field of Specialization: Adequate exposure in printing field / Knowledge of lithography / General Machine maintenance activities/ Machinist or Technical Training preferred/ Quality concepts/ Preventive & Corrective maintenance/ Hands on the job / Multi-skilled person /Safety measures.
• General Skills : Quality conscious, Analytical, Focused, Self-Starter, Team Player.
