We're looking for a Senior Associate to our Cut & Sew/Sublimation department to assist in managing our production team in our Chatsworth, CA office. Printful cut and sew / sublimation production team daily completes hundreds of made to order sublimation items for many customers all over the world/worldwide. We print all-over T-Shirts, tank tops, leggings, dresses, pillows, totes utilizing dye sublimation technology.

Printful is looking for an experienced and responsible professional who can manage the Sublimation production process from delivering daily tasks to sublimation production team to monitoring speed and quality of work as well as resolving issues that may intervene with order dispatch times.

You will need to be focused on strict deadlines and ensure uninterrupted workflow.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

Full-time position/ Hours (Typically) are Tuesday - Friday 3:30 to 12 am including 9am - 5:30pm on Saturdays.  

Day To Day Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the production process.

2. Contribute to positive department morale and attitude.

3. Maintain an open line of communication with team members (daily meetings).

4. Keep the focus on the common department and company goals.

5. Notify supervisors of any problems or discrepancies during the sublimation process (daily reports).

6. Monitor the speed and quality of work.

7. Work with the department lead to continuously improve the manufacturing process.

8. Work closely with the team to ensure a continuous production flow.

9. Oversee all processes from printing to sublimation.

10. Ensure that all team members have tools and workstations in good condition

11. Ensure that all new orders are printed, prepped, and sublimated according to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and samples.

12. Perform regular stock counts of the inventory of garments for sublimation, fabrics and other cut & sew department materials.

13. Make sure that all stations and the department, in general, is clean and well maintained.

Requirements and Skills:

1. Understanding of apparel production process.

2. Leadership skills.

3. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

4. Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.

5. Problem-solving skills: critical thinking using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

6. Experience in team building and motivation.

7. Experience using Mimaki printers (JV300-160, TS3000P-1800)

8. Experience with roll to roll printing (preferred)

9. At least intermediate computer skills (MS Office, e-mail).
