    THE BASICS:

    THE FORMALITIES:

    The junior training coordinator will be responsible for assisting in the assessment of the training needs for the production staff, identifying performance gaps, planning and delivering training programs and ensuring that employees stay competent and skilled for their positions.  This position will act as an assistant to the training coordinator and tasks may be assigned or revoked as needed per training demands. Flexibility is required.

    HOURS:  9AM-5:30PM WITH OCCASIONAL NIGHT AND (RARE) WEEKENDS

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform job analysis to determine and document job competencies and requirements for various stations or departments within production.
    • Create training practices and manage updates and revisions.
    • Coordinate training plans and schedules with department managers and the training coordinator as needed.
    • Assist with the development and delivery of training programs by hosting them or helping to create content for various training.
    • Assist in maintaining and developing accurate and useful training records.
    • Host train-the-trainer programs within production.
    • Pursue personal professional development opportunities to improve instructional effectiveness and expand their training abilities..
    • Plan, Develop, Organize, write and edit operational procedures and manuals for all departments.
    • Participate directly in the “First 5” On-Boarding Program
    • Develop Subject Matter Expert qualifications for departments. 
    • Collaborate with Production and other teams to identify training opportunities that will improve and maintain high-quality standards (HR, Facilities, etc)
    • Periodically evaluate ongoing training programs to ensure any and all updates are included
    • Act as a role model and be aware of and fully support all Policies & Procedures
    • Receive varying assignments from the training coordinator to research or implement potential changes to training materials or work instructions. 
    • Work with certified trainers on how to deliver work instructions and best practices based on SOP materials created by the training team. 
    • Review, revise and update department SOP documents as needed while maintaining appropriate records and communication around such changes.
