    POSITION OVERVIEW:

    You will be a key team player in the transition and implementation of our new Workday HR system in 2021, then be responsible for the day-to-day HRIS administration and reporting.

     

    THE BASICS:

    • Initially you will be the internal project manager, working with the implementation team on the implementation of the Workday HR system.

    • Partnering with HR Business Partners to enable the effective use of HCM and related integrated systems and workflow solutions.

    • Configuring changes in Workday aligned with business requirements for overall functionality and technical quality of deliverables.

    • Maintaining the system configuration and reporting designs for the assigned functional areas.

    • Proactively identifying and developing reports/dashboards to improve Workday utilization, assist staff with the creation of reports to support day to day responsibilities.

    • Diagnosing and troubleshooting system issues including data errors, security, process and integration issues.

    • Serving as key point of contact to monitor service desk ticket issues and analyze for short and long-term resolution.

    • Serving as an escalation point for system issues reported by users.

    • Participating in testing efforts (including writing and execution) to ensure systems are working as designed.

    • Working with training to create and update documentation and training/quick reference guides for system implementation, upgrades and modifications. Provide appropriate communications as upgrades and modifications occur.

    • Managing interface processes to ensure integrity of data to all third parties, including payroll vendors, talent acquisition, and talent management systems.

    • Conduct audits for data quality/integrity and system maintenance.

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Information Systems, Human Resources or a related field.

    • Minimum 2 years experience as a Workday HCM analyst.

    • Solid HR functional knowledge and understanding of HR processes and data, including workflows.

    • Strong analytical skills, high attention to detail and demonstrated ability to see projects through the full lifecycle to completion.

    • Creative approach to solving technical or process-related problems.

    • Solid understanding of HRIS database design, structure, functions and processes.

    • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and effectively manage time and prioritize projects.

    • Service-oriented approach to internal customers and peer relationships, ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in a team environment.

    • Workday implementation experience is an asset
