We're looking for a Senior Associate to our Cut & Sew department to assist in managing our production team in our Chatsworth, CA office. Printful cut and sew production team daily completes hundreds of made to order sublimation items for many customers all over the world/worldwide. We make leggings, dresses, pillows, totes and other amazing cut and sew products.

Printful is looking for an experienced and responsible professional who can manage the cut and sew production process from delivering daily tasks to cut and sew production team to monitoring speed and quality of work as well as resolving issues that may intervene with order dispatch times.

You will need to be focused on strict deadlines and ensure uninterrupted workflow.

Day To Day Responsibilities:

1. Supervise the production process.

2. Ensure uninterrupted workflow.

3. Contribute to positive department morale and attitude.

4. Keep the focus on the common department and company goals.

5. Notify supervisors of any problems or discrepancies during the sewing process (daily reports)

6. Monitor the speed and quality of work.

7. Work with the department lead to continuously improve the manufacturing and sewing process.

8. Work closely with sublimation and fabric cutting sub-departments to ensure a continuous production flow.

9. Oversee quality control (QC) after sewing. Assist in QC if required.

10. Ensure that all seamstresses have tools and workstations in good condition

11. Ensure that all new products are sewn according to the standard operating procedures (SOPs) and samples.

12. Update SOPs as needed when process changes occur

13. Perform regular stock counts of the inventory of fabrics and other cut & sew department materials.

Requirements and Skills:

1. Understanding of apparel production process.

2. Leadership skills.

3. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).

4. Spanish language skills will be considered an advantage.

5. Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines.

6. Problem-solving skills: critical thinking using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.

7. Experience in team building and motivation.

8. At least intermediate computer skills (MS Office, e-mail).
