THE BASICS:

You have some great supervisory/managerial experience and are familiar with holding associates accountable to set performance metrics. You have a personality that inspires teamwork and independence simultaneously and can deliver performance critiques in a way that make the team want to Get Sh*t Done. You can interact thoughtfully and professionally with senior management and can translate those higher level communications to the newest, most inexperienced new associates. You have a thirst for growth and look to do better every day.

THE FORMALITIES:

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that the productivity goals as set by the Production Manager/Area Supervisor are met on a daily basis.
• Ensure understanding of production stats and goals, reading monitors daily and adjusting resources as needed.
• Assist Area Supervisor with any and all challenges regarding printing, sublimation & cutting issues; acting as a backup and a primary resource as needed.
• Draft work schedules, assignments, and overtime to meet weekly production goals.
• Expedite late, stuck, damaged & priority items to ensure a consistent flow of production. Work with applicable sections on ecom.
• Look for inefficiencies in the production flow and suggest improvements to the direct Supervisor.
• Coordinate the activities of employees of the respective shift to meet the daily productivity goals.
• Set up machines in the beginning of shift and set priorities for the day.
• Convey production stats & information effectively to staff and management.
• Assist with training to mitigate the impact of staff & machine challenges.
• Inspect materials, products, or equipment to detect defects or malfunctions when necessary.
• Monitor inventory levels and inventory counts to ensure a fully stocked department at all times.
• When applicable, assist in production to increase overall department productivity.
• Coach and instruct staff to maintain high productivity while handling corrective actions as necessary. Perform disciplinary action as needed.
• Setup and do basic troubleshooting for Caldera, Mimaki, sublimation presses and Zund machines when applicable.
• Maintain production Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for printing, sublimation and cutting processes.
